The food was good usually when go to a restaurant that's about to close they sometimes give you what's left and it tastes like it. But not here the food was very good fresh and tasty. Customer service friendly atmosphere inviting. We will be going back. Thanks Goovanni's

This was our first time at Giovanni’s. We have been curious about it since moving to the area but it’s never been open during the times we are driving by so I made reservations for a birthday dinner. Even though I had originally made the reservations for outdoor dining, the weather did not cooperate but it was not an issue and they had moved us inside per my reservation request. The hostess was very friendly and polite and we were seated immediately. Our server Denise came over quickly and was very friendly. Ste asked if we had been a guest before and offered some recommendations. She brought out some fresh baked bread with olive oil and balsamic for dipping - the bread was FANTASTIC! I ordered a Lemoncello Martini and a bottle of Merlot, as well as the Burrata and Prosciutto appetizer. The appetizer went fabulously with the bread! We then ordered the Lobster Ravioli and the Spaghetti alla Carbonara for our main dishes. The Lobster Ravioli had great flavor and had a good amount of lobster filling but WAY too much of the cream sauce. It could’ve had 1/3 of the sauce and been just as good if not better. The Spaghetti alla Carbonara was ok. Definitely NOT a traditional Carbonara

This was my first time at Giovanni’s and I will definitely be back. The food was great, it came out hot and fresh! We enjoyed the food, and the atmosphere! Service was very good and speedy for a sit down restaurant. We had a reservation for 6:30 and were seated instantly. We left the restaurant around 7:15, that’s awesome for a sit down restaurant! Overall, it was an amazing experience! I fully recommend to anyone looking for a great Italian restaurant!

Came here for the first time for a date night because we had gotten a coupon in the mail. The atmosphere is pretty, you can tell that they are trying to be fancy but aren't fully there yet, but it's pretty and clean. I got the manicotti which was really good, but the portion was a bit small for the price. Only two pasta shells for $24. On the menu it said they were $21 but on the bill they were $24. My boyfriend got the meatballs and mashed potatoes. One of the meatballs was cold and they were average, his mashed potatoes had a good flavor but were really chunky. The bread and oil were delicious and our waiter Micheal was amazing and super friendly. Probably won't come back but not super unhappy about the experience.

This is a tough one. During Highpoint market things get very busy and sometimes things don’t go smoothly. Tonight we ate at Giovani’s and were greeted by a woman that right off the bat said we don’t have any tables, you’re going to have to eat outside. Mind you the table they sent us to had a fireplace that worked for about 3 minutes. We asked to be seated inside, mind you we did have a reservation. Thankfully we were seated inside, it was 52 degrees outside and dropping. Our waitress was a gem, her manager was not. Again, things don’t always go to plan and the staff was overwhelmed. The true problem was the management was unkind and very short with the staff. This made them stressed and we did our best to let our server know that we realized her situation and did not blame her. The food was just ok and what could have made up for it was a little grace from their management. I hope they can come together and realize that as a team they can get over anything. I had the Veal Masala and my wife had Spaghetti Carbonara. Both just ok and not up to the standard we’re used to, we’ve been eating there for over 20 years.
